  27. Ah, yes... the mysterious Google Ranking Engine.
  28. It counts how many times someone clicks on a page after finding it with a
  29. Google search (if you participate in statistics gathering, which I do), it
  30. counts how many pages have links to this page (both of these have 504, so
  31. it seems like they might be recognized as being the same page).  It rates
  32. the referring pages to this site in the same fashion, so that pages
  33. referenced by important pages become more important.
